Our Sewer Cleaning Services
You can’t clean out your home’s sewer system yourself (and, be honest, you don’t want to). You have to summon the services of professionals with the right tools to do the job. Rooters are the most common piece of equipment used for the job, able to punch through thick clogs to restore the flow through the line. But one of the best methods used is the hydro–jetter. This device pressurizes hot water and blasts it out through nozzles to thoroughly cleanse the particles that build up along the sewer walls with scouring action. Hydro–jetting can achieve the same cleaning power as rooters without posing any risk to damaging the pipe.
Signs You Need To Clean Your Sewer
The sewer line that serves your home lies in a trench under your property where you cannot see it. You will have to look for warning signs that the space in the sewer line is narrowing or even blocked so you know to call a sewer cleaner. There are many signs you may need to clean your sewer, including:
- Multiple Slow and Backed–Up Drains: When a single drain in your home becomes clogged or slow, it usually means a problem in the drainpipe. But if you notice slow draining or clogs in the sinks of more than one room in the house, the issue likely runs deeper—down into the sewer line itself. Do not hesitate when something like this occurs: call for sewer cleaning from professionals.
- Drainage at the Sewer Clean Out: Homes built after the late ‘70s will have a sewer clean out, a pipe with a rubber cap that permits sewer line access for cleaning. The clean out for your home is probably located at the side of the house among the foliage (you can ask a plumber to help you find it). If you unscrew the cap and find wastewater standing in the line, it means the sewer line is starting to back up and needs cleaning.
- Sewer Odors in the House: As the sewer line narrows due to build–up, sewer gas will start to back up into your home through the drains, pushing up through the water in the p–trap. Should this start to happen, it will not be long before actual sewage starts to back up, so have cleaning done as soon as possible.
